Consultation has concluded
At Gentoo we believe everyone has the right to live in a good quality home they can afford. This is why we’re committed to investing millions of pounds in new rented homes every year.
Through our Affordable Home Programme we’re playing our part to address the UK housing shortage locally, by delivering 1200 affordable homes by 2026 to reduce the affordable housing shortage in the city.
Our Affordable Homes Programme will deliver much needed new homes in a variety of tenures, including affordable rent, Shared Ownership and Rent to Buy. Our aim is to not just deliver homes, but to create neighbourhoods and places that people are proud to be part of, which contributes to Sunderland’s wider ongoing transformation.
We want to work with the local community to deliver developments which have a positive impact on the area and ensure local people have a voice in shaping proposals.
You may be aware that we have already submitted plans to build new homes on land at Fulwell Quarry and the former Carley Hill school site, as well as having new homes under construction at Eastbourne Square. We would like to hear your views while we are in the design phase of this development off Old Mill Road at Carley Hill before we submit a planning application.
Please help us to deliver a development our community needs by reading the information we have prepared and provide your feedback using the survey below.
